• Would you know what to do if someone had an accident and broke a bone on a Jeep ride?
• Could you treat a burn on someone if you were miles from the hospital?
  
• Do you know how to treat a snakebite?
  
• Could you ask the proper questions to an injured person when you approach an accident site?

Neither did we, so we decided to do something about it.  We formed the Caloosa Jeepers Extreme Team in an effort to educate ourselves in simple first aid and rescue techniques so that we would know what to do in the event of an emergency.  We are not doctors or EMT specialists but we train regularly in techniques to stabilize someone injured until professional medical help can arrive.
